Born in Istanbul, H.Didem Sunan graduated from the Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture and graduated with a bachelor's degree. In 2007, she completed the Yildiz Technical University Survey-Restoration Master Program with her thesis on "Architectural Analysis and Evaluation of the Mint Structures and Stamp Printing House in Historical Development". While she was still a student in architecture studies, she started working for İran Badur Construction and Planning Ltd. Şti., and Sunan continued her career in the same company after graduation. She also worked at Mehmet Konuralp architecture office for a while. Currently, she continues to work on cultural asset conservation projects within the PASA Architecture Restoration company she founded in 2013. In her professional life, she specializes in cultural asset projects that need to be protected in the first degree; In addition to her work at Topkapı Palace, Patara Ancient City, Rumeli Lighthouse, Rüstem Paşa Madrasa, she has prepared conservation projects for various mosques, tombs, hospitals, schools and wooden housing structures. Since 2016, she started to transfer her professional experience to education life, and since 2017, she has been teaching in the fields of architectural projects and surveys in the Architecture and Interior Architecture Departments of Haliç University.
